Bee products in phytotherapy. Create yout own health mix

,

Discover the power of bee products in phytotherapy – with this statement, the “Busy Bee” project’s creative workshop began. A dozen seminar participants not only listened to the training delivered by phytotherapy specialist Gytis Leliukas, but also created their own unique health blends and searched for answers to how bee products can help strengthen well‑being.
Which medicinal plants grow around us? What properties do they have, and how are they beneficial to people? Participants even chose to “rename” themselves after various plants.

These were the first of five planned training sessions, which began with a ritual — lighting the record‑breaking candle made by beekeeper Remigijus Šemeklis. Workshop participants also won two lottery prizes: a candle that burns for 10 hours and Hill of Crosses tea. And, of course, they tasted the “Busy Bee” sweets — honey with pollen.

This day showed just how powerful honey is. It heals, nourishes, unites — and invites everyone to the next “sweet,” interesting, and useful training sessions. Follow the updates from the Šiauliai District Tourism and Business Information Centre.
