The Parallel Between Plant and Human could be a brief way to describe this gathering held in a unique, peaceful setting beside the iconic Hill of Crosses. An educational event brought participants together to explore the connection between medicinal herbs, bees, and human well-being.
In this special environment, visitors had the opportunity to awaken their senses, surrounded by the scents of honey and wild herbs. Just a few steps into nature, and everyone returned carrying medicinal plants in their hands.
Together with phytotherapist Gytis Leliukas, we immersed ourselves in the world of nature, learning how to correctly identify the most valuable medicinal plants and how bee products can support our physical and emotional health in everyday life.
A bee chooses a blossom; a person chooses a medicinal herb.
The most important thing is to know the plant and always use it in moderation.
The Hill of Crosses Tea is a truly special gift. It is an excellent wellness blend made from nettle, meadowsweet, mint, chamomile, and linden blossoms. It is perhaps the sweetest tea in the world without any added sugar or honey. Every day, this tea travels to foreign countries, carrying with it a message about the Šiauliai District, the green corner of Lithuania.
We hope that the knowledge and experiences gained during this educational event will strengthen participants’ healthy living skills. The key is not to stop learning and to embrace everything that Mother Nature has to offer.
