This first meeting will introduce the key psychological and social factors affecting seniors who experience social exclusion. Participants will explore common emotional and cognitive challenges faced by older adults, as well as the impact of loneliness, age-related stereotypes and limited access to learning opportunities. The session will also focus on communication strategies that foster trust, respect and inclusion, helping library staff create supportive and empowering interactions with senior patrons.
