Mead Tasting with Roma Mačienė
Discover the rich story behind mead during an engaging tasting experience led by Roma Mačienė. Blending cultural heritage, craftsmanship, and authentic flavours, this event offers a unique opportunity to explore the traditions of mead-making in Lithuania.
Drawing on more than two decades of experience in a family-run meadery, Roma Mačienė will share the history, production methods, and cultural significance of mead, while introducing participants to the evolution of this centuries-old drink in a modern context. Through conversation, storytelling, and guided tasting, guests will gain a deeper appreciation of the craftsmanship behind different mead varieties and the role of beekeeping traditions in the region.
