OPENING EVENT OF THE DIGITAL EXHIBITIONS “THE ROOM OF SILENCE” AND “ROTHKO’S LIFE TIMELINE”
Responsible partner:
Join us for the opening of two new digital exhibitions at the Rothko Museum in Daugavpils – “The Room of Silence” and “Rothko’s Life Timeline”, developed as part of the MATOMI project.
The opening event will offer visitors an opportunity to discover the new digital exhibition solutions and experience innovative ways of presenting cultural heritage and artistic legacy. The event will also introduce the ideas and technologies behind the exhibitions and how they contribute to a more engaging and interactive museum experience.
The Room of Silence” offers a slow and immersive audiovisual experience, where Rothko’s classical-period works appear one by one, accompanied by specially created sound and lighting.
“Rothko’s Life Timeline” follows the artist’s journey from Dvinsk/Daugavpils to the Rothko Chapel in Houston through digitally animated historical photographs, complemented by an interactive children’s game inspired by Rothko’s art.
Everyone is welcome to attend – participation is free of charge, and no registration is required.
