RE:IMPACT Project Final Event

Description:

On January 14th, the Final Event of the project “Improving the social entrepreneurship ecosystem in Zemgale and Northern Lithuania” (RE:IMPACT) will take place in Jelgava Municipality.

This celebratory event gathers project partners, policy makers, and social entrepreneurs to look back at the work accomplished during the project and share the achieved results.

Agenda Highlights:

• Opening: Festive address by Valdis Veips (Executive Director of Zemgale Planning Region).

• Social Economy Context: Imants Lipskis (Ministry of Welfare) will give a presentation on the opportunities and challenges of the social economy, addressing the potential role of planning regions and municipalities.

• Project Achievements: Project manager Ieva Zeiferte will provide an overview of the RE:IMPACT results and recommendations for promoting social entrepreneurship.

• Thematic Presentations: Experts will share insights on the importance of networking, the development of youth social entrepreneurship skills (including methodological materials for educators), and the creation of Social Entrepreneurship Action Plans in Zemgale municipalities.

• Inspiration: The event will feature short “flash-presentations” by Zemgale social entrepreneurs and a musical greeting and inspirational presentation by musician Agnese Rakovska.

The event will conclude with networking and conversations about social entrepreneurship.
