This three-day event will bring together approximately 45 participants from Lithuania and Latvia, representing the project partner regions of Pasvalys District Municipality, Jelgava Local Municipality, and Augšdaugava Municipality. The conference will serve as the culmination of the INCLUSIVE project and provide an opportunity to share experiences, results, and practical approaches developed throughout the project implementation period.

Participants will explore the concept and impact of sensory reading rooms as innovative community spaces that combine reading, learning, digital literacy, relaxation, and wellbeing promotion. Special attention will be given to how libraries can support people facing social exclusion, including older adults, people with disabilities, and children and families experiencing social challenges.

Throughout the conference, attendees will learn about the infrastructure, methodologies, and services created during the project and discuss ways these resources can be effectively integrated into local communities. The programme will highlight successful examples of cooperation between libraries, municipalities, social and healthcare institutions, educational organisations, and non-governmental organisations.

The conference will also provide a platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and future collaboration, demonstrating how libraries can become important centres for lifelong learning, social inclusion, access to information, and mental wellbeing.

A detailed programme is currently being coordinated and will be announced soon.

We look forward to welcoming participants to this inspiring international gathering dedicated to strengthening inclusive library services and improving quality of life through innovative community-based solutions!
