Nida Art Colony of Vilnius Academy of Arts together with Wix.com are inviting designers and other creative industries activists to take part in one week UX (user experience) design workshop in Nida. The participants will be selected by open call and will get masterclasses and creative workshop from UX design professionals who are leading the world biggest website design platform Wix.com. Workshop and masterclasses are dedicated to designers already working in this field and for newcomers looking for their opportunities and role in this dynamic creative industries field. During five days intense workshop session participants will be introduced to principles of UX design, analyse examples, start their own projects and develop them in groups. All events will take place at Nida Art Colony from 26th to 30th of November, accommodation and catering services will be fully covered from the project funding.

The educational module is launched within the framework of two years project “Paradigm shift from “traditional”to creative industries –the essence for sustainable regional development (CCI & Sustainability). Project implemented under the INTERREG V-A Latvia –Lithuania Cross Border Cooperation Programme 2014-2020, project No. LLI-338. Leading partner: Kuldīga District Municipality, project partners: Klaipeda Culture Communication Center, Nida Art Colony of Vilnius Academy of Arts, Liepāja Creative Industry Cluster, and Liepāja Music, Art, and Design School. The total budget of the project is EUR 220,193. 06, including EUR 187.164,08 of the ERDF funding.
