Zemgale Flavours and Crafts Festival – 26 September in Eleja!

The schedule includes performances by folk groups, master classes, dance presentations, and a concert by the ethnomusic group Tautumeitas. Activities for children and a crafts market are also featured.

On 26 September, from 11:00 to 16:00, Eleja Manor Park will host the Zemgale Flavours and Crafts Festival, bringing together local producers, artisans, traditional crafts and culture from Latvia and Lithuania.

Throughout the day, visitors can explore a lively local producers’ and artisans’ market, discover traditional crafts, take part in creative activities and workshops, and enjoy activities for the whole family. Younger visitors will also have the opportunity to see, feed, and pet various small animals.

The cultural programme will feature performances by folk and line dance and singing groups from Latvia and Lithuania, and as well as demonstrations, stories by local craftspeople and other exciting activities. The festival will conclude with a concert by the Latvian ethno-music group “Tautumeitas”.
