Highlights from the Third Call for Proposals

On 19 January, the Interreg VI-A Latvia–Lithuania Programme 2021–2027 (hereinafter – the Programme) successfully closed its Third Call for Proposals (hereinafter – Third Call), receiving 21 project applications aimed at adaptation to climate change and protection of nature, biodiversity, and green infrastructure, under Programme Priority 2 “Green, resilient and sustainable development”. The submitted proposals requested a total of 15, 387 million EUR ERDF co-financing. Find all the key data and highlights of the Third Call in the infographic below.

What’s next?

As the next step, each project application will be assessed for eligibility and quality, examining its feasibility, impact, and alignment with the Programme’s objectives. On 20-21 May 2026, the Monitoring Committee of the Programme will select and approve projects for funding. The list of selected projects will be published on our website after the meeting of Monitoring Committee. Afterwards, the Programme Managing Authority will contact each applicant on results and will inform them about the next steps. Subsidy Contracts for projects approved under the Third Call are expected to be signed in summer 2026.
