In December, 2018, project No. LLI-416 LOCAL FOODS partners- farmers from Zarasai and Kraslava had participated in experience exchange visit to Poland and Austria.
In order to understand how modern local production works, people have to try it themselves. Therefore practical meat processing training for local producers was organised at the successful producer’s sites in different countries – Poland and Austria.

Participants of the study visit have visited 5 slaughterhouses and meat production units and had practical training (no training materials used ) there, also had meetings with the unions of farmers in Poland and Austria, had visited farmer shops in both countries.
