We are pleased to announce the publication of Newsletter No. 3 of the Lakes Go Digital project, highlighting the latest achievements and activities from recent months.

This edition explores how smart monitoring technologies are improving our understanding of freshwater ecosystems and supporting evidence-based lake management. It also focuses on ecosystem services – the many often invisible benefits that healthy lakes provide to people, communities and nature every day.

  • the successful deployment of all six smart monitoring buoys across Latvia and Lithuania;
  • the intensive 24-hour calibration campaign carried out in Lake Mastis to validate the monitoring system;
