This week is will be special for 30 children from Ludza (LV), Rokiškis (LT) and Jēkabpils (LV): during 5 days they will take part in different activities and actions of the summer camp organised by Rokiškis District Municipal Library.
The children will make 3D models, produce wooden spoons, take part in creative workshops, visit the capital of Lithuania Vilnius, play and present their countries. And of course, they will communicate with their peers from other municipalities.
The project partners (Ludza Municipality, Rokiškis District Municipal Library and Jēkabpils City Municipality) were awarded financing of the European Union that was allocated by the Interreg V-A Latvia-Lithuania Programme 2014-2020 to the project “Interactive educational space – efficient way of social integration of children from disadvantaged families” (OPEN UP).
Total project size is 176,680.75 EUR. Out of them co-funding of European Regional Development Fund is 150,178.64 EUR.
