The project’s SCAPE LLI-269 activities are already finished. For strengthening the knowledge and capacity of police officers and police supporters in Klaipeda County and Kurzeme region three joint trainings were organised on how to use and apply modern technologies that were given by local and foreign professional instructors and lectors. The 3-day joint Conference took place in Palanga and Liepaja with more that 100 participants during which different stakeholders were able to exchange their experience in a joint demonstration training. Also, for strengthening the technical capacity of the institutions using modern equipment, such as body camcorders, vehicle video recorders, service bikes, tricycles, electric bicycles, electric car and electric minivan, drone 1, traffic video recorders, Taser simulation suit, etc. were purchased.
The SCAPE LLI- 269 project is considered as being successful because of its continuation: the new project SCAPE II LLI-451 has begun with the same partnership and the main aim: to ensure public security in Klaipeda County and Kurzeme region.
