Without bees, there would be no beekeepers either. At the seminar “The Mysterious World of Bees” held at the Vytautas Vitkauskas Public Library of the Šiauliai District Municipality, the charismatic lecturer Dr. Algirdas Amšiejus truly turned up the heat for both professional and amateur beekeepers alike.
The life of bees is so mysterious and fascinating that it is impossible to learn everything in just a few hours. However, deepening one’s knowledge and sharing experience is always possible. During the seminar, a honey tasting took place. So many flavors in one place! So many sweet emotions! The event also attracted a record number of participants.
In the second part of the seminar, lecturer Laura Amšiejūtė shared her insights into bee products. Each product has a different story. Yet one undeniable truth is beyond doubt – their impact on health is tremendous. There is also a golden rule that is easy to remember: all bee products reduce cholesterol.
The training has ended, but the connections remain. New relationships were formed, and existing ties grew stronger. Deepened knowledge encourages change and self-improvement, and inspires ever greater confidence to raise one’s hand and say, “I am a beekeeper.”
