From 4 to 8 August, 2025 the summer adventure camp “Power of the Elements” was held at Lutriņi (Latvia) Primary School, which was attended by young people of various abilities and their support persons from Saldus and Kretinga (Latvia and Lithuania).
The camp program was inspired by the five elements – EARTH, WATER, FIRE, AIR and UNITY. Every day, the participants experienced activities that corresponded to a specific theme – from sports classes, hiking and labyrinth walking to creative workshops: candle making, T-shirt painting, collage making and others. Evenings by the campfire, karaoke and singing together were also not to be missed.
The week was filled with getting to know each other, bonding, developing cooperation skills and forming new friendships. Despite the rain, the camp spirit was maintained by joy, togetherness and support for each other. Camp leader Gatis Baumanis wished everyone to use the experience gained as a valuable stepping stone in their future lives.
In the end, everyone agreed on a common song “Bēdu manu lielu bēdu” and saved this moment in a joint photograph.
