“A Day in Nature by Māra Pond

On Saturday, September 20th, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM in Kuldīga, around Māra Pond, the event “A Day in Nature by Māra Pond” will take place, inviting both young and old to spend a day outdoors — discovering, engaging, and experiencing various activities.

Visitors will enjoy exciting and educational workshops — there will be an opportunity to explore the “Mobile Nature Classroom” exhibition, create your own “compost burger,” and learn the secrets of home composting together with Komposts.lv. You can also participate in the creative workshop “Give Things a Second Life” and express yourself in the natural paint art workshop “Water World.”

Families with children can try out the interactive game “Māra’s Loop”, test their wits in the game “Pond Challenge”, and enjoy the flavors of autumn in a special masterclass that reveals the season’s richness in your glass.

For those who enjoy active recreation, SUP and boat rides will be available, while the youngest visitors can take part in a variety of games and activities for the whole family.
