International Conference “Active Aging Policy and Innovative Methods”
The “Active Aging Policy and Innovative Methods” International Conference will take place on January 14, 2026, at Abgunste Manor in Latvia.
The primary objective of the conference is to present the results and key insights of the “Active Aging” project, share successful best practices from Latvia and Lithuania, and initiate crucial discussions on integrating active aging principles into the agendas of policymakers.
The target audience includes a broad range of professionals and stakeholders, such as social work specialists, caregivers, project staff, and representatives from the Latvian and Lithuanian Ministries of Welfare and Health.

Lithuania (Rokiškis & Panevėžys): Focus on the University of the Third Age experience, successful senior engagement, and innovative approaches like outdoor exercise machines with adjustable weights for seniors.
