These include diversifying tourism offers, alleviating overcrowded destinations, redistributing tourist flows, making destinations accessible for all.

Project objective

To develop modern, digital and interactive joint cross-border tourism product PANORAMA ROUTE through mapping and opening access to public culturally-historic sites (lighthouses, churches, watertowers, hillforts etc.) with panoramic viewpoints in Kurzeme and North Lithuania, facilitating accessibility and differentiation of their functioning and services offered in order to preserve natural and culturally historical value and develop tourism, thus benefiting to the economic growth locally and regionally.

Planned activities

The project will develop the PANORAMA ROUTE, featuring 50–70 panoramic viewpoints in Kurzeme, Panevėžys, Šiauliai, Telšiai and Utena regions. The project will enhance access to 9 panoramic viewpoints, create the Roadgame, publish a Travel Guide, and promote the route on international tourism websites and apps. These key outputs will benefit local communities, tourists, and businesses by attracting visitors year-round and highlighting underrated locations.
