Workshop “How to Welcome Kayakers Safely and Sustainably”

This spring, you are welcome to join another training session organized by the Lithuanian Countryside Tourism Association. This time, the event will take place in the beautiful natural surroundings of the Anykščiai district. It will be an engaging and practical meeting – designed for everyone interested in sustainable tourism, eager to expand their knowledge and strengthen the tourism community.

Training topic – “How to Welcome Kayakers Safely and Sustainably”.
This is a highly relevant subject, especially as the warm season approaches and more tourists choose active recreation in nature. We will discuss safety, ecological responsibility, and legal aspects of kayaking in a clear, practical, and engaging way.

What to expect?
The training will take place outdoors and will focus on real-life situations that tourism service providers encounter. We will explore how to host visitors responsibly, how to balance their needs with nature conservation, what safety requirements must be met, and how to respond to legal matters when they arise.
