Experience exchange visits for local craftsmen, artisans, rural producers to Biržai

On August 13th experience exchange visit took place, bringing together 20 skilled craftsmen, artisans, and rural producers from Latvia to the charming town of Biržai, Lithuania. This initiative was part of a broader effort to strengthen cross-border tourism ties, encouraging collaboration and mutual growth among regional tourism service providers.

The Latvian delegation, representing a diverse range of local businesses, embarked on a full day of exploration and learning. Their journey through Biržai included visits to nine distinct local enterprises, each showcasing the rich tapestry of Lithuanian hospitality. These businesses spanned various sectors, from cozy, family-run accommodations and innovative entertainment venues to unique catering services offering a taste of authentic regional cuisine.
