During the implementation of the “MultiMobile” project, it is planned to purchase 2 new electric buses and provide mobile social services to rural residents and individuals who have difficulty coming to the municipality to submit documents or receive other services. To prepare for this, training on cooperation, engagement and communication was organized for social service specialists in Mažeikiai.
The training took place in three cycles, in which a total of 30 representatives of the municipality, elderships and social institutions participated. The training was conducted by lecturer Gintarė Razulevičiūtė, who shared not only theoretical knowledge, but also organized active practical activities for the training participants.
The purpose of this training is to strengthen the competencies of social service providers who will work in providing digitalized and mobile social services, related to effective communication between employees, communication with clients, conflict resolution and inter-institutional cooperation.
Digitalized and mobile social services are also relevant for other regions in Lithuania and Latvia that have experienced exclusion, therefore it is expected that, after the successful implementation of the project, knowledge about complex mobile services will be shared with other municipalities in both countries.
The MultiMobile project aims to improve the living conditions of people with fewer opportunities in remote, more remote rural areas of Livani and Mažeikiai districts, and to increase the accessibility of mobile digital social services. Residents of rural areas of both municipalities will be offered a new mobile integrated service, which will be provided as close to their place of residence as possible.
