Invitation to the Event “AK! Invites You on a Date” in Naujoji Akmenė
Akmenė District Municipality, together with its partners, cordially invites you to the closing event of the project “Reclaimed History” – the presentation of new digital heritage solutions titled “AK! Invites You on a Date”, which will take place on November 7, 2025, in Naujoji Akmenė Central Square.

During the event, visitors will be introduced to new interactive cultural heritage tools – an info terminal and seven information stands, developed under the Interreg VI-A Latvia–Lithuania Programme 2021–2027 project “Digitally Accessible and Attractive Lost Cultural Heritage Tourism Sites in Zemgale and Northern Lithuania” (No. LL-00061 “Reclaimed History”).

Event highlights:

• Trade fair and networking with project partners from Lithuania and Latvia.
• Presentation of digital solutions and guided bus tours visiting the newly installed heritage stands.
• Ice show performance.
• Games and prizes.

Information on guided tours:

Registered participants will join guided bus tours along designated routes to visit the interactive information stands.
Transportation will be provided from L. Petravičius Square in Naujoji Akmenė to the tour destinations.

Tour routes:
Route 1 with guide Andrius Almanis – Klykoliai (Klykoliai Synagogue stand), Akmenė (Akmenė Synagogue stand, tour of Akmenė Square and Akmenė Regional Museum), Dabikinė (Dabikinė Manor stand and presentation on the manor’s reconstruction).
Route 2 with guide Rita Masiulienė – Papilė (Papilė Synagogue and Papilė Mound Chapel stands, visit to Simonas Daukantas Museum and Nightingale Valley), Paragiai (Paragiai Manor stand and guided tour of the manor).
