Summer Camp

From August 19th till 23rd Kretinge Day centre will host a “Summer camp without devices” where participants will experience the days in American Indian thematic.  Living in the village, playing drums, canoe trip, archery competition, campfire, hiking are just a few of activities that participants will be able to enjoy. During the camp, in order to ensure the active participation of all, participants will camp without mobile devices.

The general aim of the project to promote the integration of people with disabilities and children from disadvantaged families into society by organising joint activities. The camp’s aim is to enhance and strengthen cooperation between Latvia and Lithuania and organise various activities for young people.

Participants: 15 participants from each country and 5 adults. Participants from Latvia are selected by Saldus Social Service; participants from Lithuania are clients of Dienos Veiklos centre. Additional applications are not accepted.
