Workshop about sensory gardens designing “Smell“

Within the project “Exploit Your Senses to Discover the Green Secrets of Zemgale and Žemaitija!/ Green Secrets,” a cycle of five workshops is planned on the creation of sensory gardens, focusing on the five senses – sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch.

The third workshop will take place on May 28, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM at Dobele Lilac House, Graudu Street 1, Ceriņi, Krimūnu Parish, Dobele Local Municipality

Theme: “Smell”

The session includes:

• A lecture on perceiving sensory gardens through scents and garden fragrances – 2 hours (including a coffee break)
• A practical part in the Dobele Lilac Garden – 2.5 hours

The workshop will be led by landscape architect Dr. arch. Natalija Ņitavska.
