The project “Re:Impact”, focused on promoting social entrepreneurship in Zemgale and Northern Lithuania, not only researches and develops this field, but also actively involves the wider community, especially young people and those who want to or are already active in social entrepreneurship, to build a common understanding of its potential.
Informative events in Zemgale municipalities
One way the project reaches its target audience is through a series of informative events in Zemgale municipalities. In these sessions, participants can not only learn about the results of the project’s “Comparative Analysis of Social Innovators in the Zemgale Region and Northern Lithuania”, but also gain valuable insights into social entrepreneurship opportunities and network with other social entrepreneurs. During the events, Sandra Grigorjeva, a business expert from the Zemgale Planning Region (ZPR), presents the project’s activities and plans.
Dynamic workshops for young people
Recognizing the importance of involving young people, as potential future social innovators, in the development of social entrepreneurship, the project also organizes a series of dynamic workshops specifically tailored to their interests. Kristīne Kode, a youth specialist at ZPR, together with mentor Madara Mickeviča, leads these practical workshops, introducing participants to the concept of social entrepreneurship and providing opportunities to explore its potential. Workshops have already been held in Bauska and Dobele and are planned in other cities and regions of Zemgale.
Impact on Society
With these diverse activities, the project not only promotes understanding of social entrepreneurship but also creates a platform for the development of new ideas and initiatives. Follow the latest news on the project page and Calendar to stay informed about events and opportunities to get involved.
