From Idea to Change: Youth Startups and Social Business

Event description:

The event is organized to promote entrepreneurial skills among young people and anyone seeking to deepen their knowledge.

During the event Darius Kniūkšta will tell his story and how to acquire the skills of entrepreneurship and present the story of his startup creation. Also, the gaps and changes in the education system will be reviewed.

Lecturer Loreta Sagaitienė will talk about the concept of social business, its types and development opportunities in Lithuania. During the presentation, you will learn about the social business project “Science Club on the Move”, its story and goals. Loreta will share insights on how social businesses can contribute to public well-being, benefit the community, and at the same time create sustainable business models. There will be an interactive reflection – participants will be invited to discuss, share insights and together search for creative ideas on how social business could be even more integrated into our everyday life.

Lecturers:

1.00 pm “How to create a startup? “

The training will be led by Darius Kniūkšta, youtuber “Darius is Playing” and co-founder of the education with games startup “Three Cubes”.

2.00 pm Workshops

3.00 pm “You are not a prophet in your own land. I AM.”

The training will be led by Loreta Sagaitienė, head of the association “Dare to Change”implementing the social business project “Science Club on the Move”.
