Opening of the nature exhibition on birds at Pape Tourism information point “Dzintarvēji”

On September 28, 2025 at 12:00 pm all are invited to the ceremonial opening of the nature exhibition on birds at Pape Tourism information point “Dzintarvēji” in Pape.

A significant work has been done to create a modern information source, accessible to various audiences, for learning about wildlife. The newly created exhibition narrative will allow visitors to get to know the diversity of birds while promoting an understanding of the importance of nature conservation. During the event, Dr. Biol. Oskars Keišs, Head of the Pape Ornithological Research Centre of the University of Latvia, will share his bird stories and ornithological experience with the visitors.

The exhibition was created within the framework of the BIRDIE project “Birdwatching Network along the Baltic Sea Coast” (No. LL-00022).
